Review of the simple Coredy WN300 wifi range extender. It can setup a wifi AP with different name other than the one you extending, while keeping the same password as your AP.

Range is not great, but it does the job extending the range. This is not a range booster, don't mix those 2 up. Booster and Extender are completely different things.

Booster has ultimate signal strength, while Extender simply repeats a station, you position it near the end of the signal range of the network you're extending, then it will extend that range beyond the point of original signal.
