it's the 8th anniversary of undertale, which marks 2 years since i've played it and about the same amount of time since i gave my initial thoughts on it in writing. 2 years later, i've had even more time to reflect on the game, get a broader sense of how other people feel about it, and improve a LOT at video editing. so, here it is: my review of one of the first games i played, revised and polished for everyone's viewing enjoyment! obviously, as it assesses the whole story, it contains MAJOR spoilers.

even ~20 minutes isn't enough to say all the things i feel for this game, but i hope it gives people a sense of what it meant to me. unfortunately, my livestreams of the game have not been preserved since they predate my proper debut, so the only footage still existent is from clips people liked. i'll always remember the emotions i had playing it for the very first time, though, and i hope that after 8 years since this game was barked into existence, everyone else is looking fondly back on it too - no matter how you may feel about it now.
