There are three outside, including one with a powerful melee weapon, so sneak attack him and then disable his friends quickly. In order to lower the vent shields, use R3 to find the connecting power supply and rip open the case, then overload it by holding L1 and tapping square to absorb its energy.

As you crawl inside, you’ll be met with some obstacles in the form of spinning fans. Aim your web shooter and gum up the fans to slip through, and crawl down to a lower level. When you reach an intersection with three spinning fans, take the left path, as the others will lead you in a circle.

You’ll drop out into a flooded room full of pipes, so hop across the water to a crack in the wall on the other side to squeeze through, then descend down the long drop to the level below.

Almost instantly, the door behind you will begin to open, so trigger your camouflage to avoid the patrol of Roxxon security as they move through the room. You actually don’t have to engage them at all - just make sure they don’t bump into you as you move into a corner of the room behind their path.

Once they’ve left, enter the hall they came from to run into an unexpected ally. Once this new friend agrees to help you out, you’ll receive some Remote Mines. These items can be thrown to emit a burst of electricity to incapacitate a nearby target - but can also be thrown at electrical outlets to expand their reach to hit multiple targets, and can even be thrown on an enemy to shock them.

With your new gadget, slip through the nearby vent to a room full of Roxxon security, and look for a fuse box on the floor to toss your mine on, and detonate it to shock up to three enemies at once.

As their friends move to investigate, zip crash into the guard alone at the top of the stairs, then turn back to either silently (or loudly) take out the remaining guards. Once they’re dealt with, look up to the right wall to find a vent above a door you can zip into.

After witnessing a short and interesting scene, crawl through the passage and up a slope into a larger room full of more security guards. You can kick things off by waiting for a guard to walk left to another at a control console, and toss a remote mine at the fuse box in front of them - catching a third guard not far away. This way, you can zip up to the light fixtures over them and pick off the Roxxon guards who come to investigate their bodies one by one. After they’ve been taken care of, check out the terminal they were using to unlock the sites of several other Roxxon Labs you can take on later to earn Activity Tokens.

Zip through the open window in front of the terminal to find the large room with the fan where the phone has been lost. There are several snipers here posted along the catwalks, so start at the top and wait for the guards that patrol between them to leave the snipers exposed to getting webbed up silently. There’s two snipers and two patrollers on the top level - it’s a good idea to take time to mark up all your targets to track them as they move around the fan, and snatch the snipers first when the others are out of sight.

Moving down to the next level, there’s 5 more guards here, but thankfully no snipers. Look for the guards that patrol along the outer ring and leave themselves isolated from their friends to pick them off first, then circle around back to the inner circle where the others who don’t move around are - and distract any who are grouped up to divide and conquer them carefully. Even if there are no electrical fuse boxes here, you can still toss a mine onto an enemy’s back and disable them from a distance - which can prove to be highly useful if you hit another enemy at the same time.

A Roxxon Shield Guard will appear to attack you. Pay attention when these guys enter a room - as trying to use a Venom Punch or similar venom-infused direct attack will be absorbed by their shields, and promptly redirected at you. In order to render them vulnerable, you’ll need to grab onto their shield with your webs, or get in close and perform a Venom Jump to get them into the air where they can’t defend themselves.

After taking them out, you’ll meet up with your ally, only to get ambushed in a room full of various Roxxon guards. You’ll have help now, but you shouldn’t take this fight lightly, as you’ll be surrounded on all sides. Including the Shield Guards, you’ll also have to contend with rocket launchers, and close quarters fighters.

Since your ally will usually be concerned with taking out the foes on the ground level, it’ll be worth your while to zip up to the armed guards on the upper levels, as well as those with the rocket launchers. You can also utilize your camo to give yourself a brief respite as they focus attention on your partner and let you sneak up on your targets.
