It's Corpse Party time! Like last session, this one started off with a lot of clumsy workshopping to try to figure out how to proceed in Chapter 5. But eventually, we had to face the grim reality before us: a notoriously brutal and bugged little puzzle that stood between us and victory. (If you know, you know. And you see what I did there.) With that nonsense at last behind us, we made our first serious strides forward in days. Prepare for a few more bad ends, but never fear... we're almost ready to tackle the true ending, and everything that lies beyond.
Violence and gore level: 5/5. Don't let the old-school graphics fool you. Blood and gore are everywhere, CGs are brutal, text goes into deep detail, and the binaural audio added for this version will haunt you. Not joking friends. You've been warned.
Jump scare level: 3/5. Plenty of scary and tense moments, but far heavier on the atmospheric and emotional horror than raw jump scares.
Mature themes: 5/5. Be aware that intense scenes involving the subject of youth self-harm (and survivor's trauma) are mandatory in this game, introduced early, and referenced often. The scenes in question are long, very realistic, and involve player interaction throughout. Zero attempts are made to soften or glorify the subject in any way. Absolutely recommend 18+ for this fact alone.
