Stream I did on November 6, 2024 playing Atrox. This is pretty much a StarCraft clone, but without the little gameplay nuances and the incredible voice acting and FMVs. The game had a weird difficulty curve that made the second mission to be stupidly difficult and downright impossible to beat for me without cheesing it, and the third mission gave you a specific amount of units that could attack air units that if you lost, you were locked out from completing the mission. Those little details added up to make Atrox feel clumsy and like a poorly designed map pack for StarCraft instead of a proper game. I can imagine the skirmish/multiplayer aspect of the game feels a lot better than the campaign.
