IMPORTANT: Borderlands 3 is developed by Gearbox, which is an arm of TakeTwo Interactive.

I didn't even mention this angle in the video which again is because this day has been an absolute mess... but it is easily possible that Take-Two Interactive may strike a deal regarding Borderlands 3 and Gearbox wouldn't even know.

The same thing happened with the outer worlds. Obsidian was not in control of the switch... same happened with Metro Exodus... The actual development company was not in control... the PUBLISHERS were. There is a VERY real possibility that Epic Games may poach Borderlands 3.
