Could PS4 get PS2 and PS1 Disc Playback? Last of Us for PS4. Major Layoffs Hit Sony Devs. [LTPS #93]
Sony's been having a rough month. More layoffs, game directors leaving, projects cancelled, the works. While we do touch on that, we discuss the very interesting prospect of Sony offering users PS1 and PS2 disc playback via software emulation. While not easily possible on PS3, this is something Sony is actively looking into for PS4. We also discuss The Last of Us on PS4, Until Down, and good ol' software stability.
