A recent Sony patent suggests that the PS5 DualSense could eventually identify specific users simply by how they are holding it. The patent describes a system that would use gyroscope and accelerometer to gather telemetry data to track the controller's position and orientation. This would then match previous user data and prompt the user to accept or reject the detected profile, solving the issue of having to manually swap between multiple accounts.
