Before Counter Strike became popular there was a semi-tactical then popular mod for Quake 2 called Action Quake inspired by 80s-90s action films (including those off John Woo) while does it not feature diving or bullet time the smooth movement makes it feel acrobatic and the duel pistols are there even though duel wielding is very inaccurate in this early Woo shooter.

This mod is essentially a free standalone game now on Steam as it got a re-release in 2022 rebranded as AQtion
