When it comes to family, there's always something to be found in the bloodline: odd or undesirable pasts, that weird family member you don't want to be close with, secrets. The Graham family has all of these...a secret that is so dark and sinister, passed through the generations, that threatens to unravel their very reality.

Ari Aster's first feature length film, Hereditary, is a unique horror film unlike any other. It's incredibly thoughtful story, rich character development and history and, especially, its detailed and thoughtful production design by Grace Yun, make it one of our favorite films of any genre. It's a perfect watch for Halloween.
