A special thanks to NaughtyDog, Insomniac and Crash49676428 on Twitter

They legally can't because Sony owns the publishing rights to the originals, not to mention there's a litany of legal issues between various parties that's too headache-inducing to figure out. It's why the remakes exist, because Activision can do whatever they want with them in perpetuity. I think if they did re release the original games then they probably would keep their logo in it because Naughty Dog is owned by Sony now so if they get the rights to put out the ps1 games then they already have the rights to to keep Naughty Dog's logo in it. Yeah because Sony owns the publishing of the original games, they won't be able to re-release those games unless they do talk to Sony and they allowed them with some deal but I don't see it happening. The deal with Crash and Spyro back during the PS1 days was a deal made by the original owners of Crash and Spyro, Universal, who gave exclusive rights to Sony to make those games rather than Universal hiring devs themselves to make the games then just having Sony publish it for them.

Crash is a PlayStation character owned by Microsoft, not an Xbox character. You heard it from the horse's mouth—Crash is an Activision character because Activision owns the IP. Although Microsoft owns the IP now, Crash didn't say he was an Activision character; he claimed to be a PlayStation character. So, even if Microsoft owns the IP, Crash Bandicoot will remain a PlayStation character. Essentially, it doesn't matter which company owns the IP—Nintendo, Microsoft, or Sony—Crash said he's a PlayStation character. Salty Xbox fans complaining doesn't change how it works. Whoever created, developed, and first introduced a character defines who the character is. Microsoft owns the IP, but Crash Bandicoot was first introduced on PlayStation. Crash explicitly stated he's a PlayStation character. Ip ownership doesn't alter the fact that you didn't invent or create the character; it just means you own the IP. Crash Bandicoot, created by Naughty Dog, was first introduced on PlayStation. Activision owns the IP but didn't create the character, so Crash is either a PlayStation character, a Naughty Dog character, or both. That sums it up. And Crash Bandicoot actually said, "PlayStation rules," making it canon.

It's canon because the real Naughty Dog stated that They did Give it to Activision But Activision own Crash (and Spyro); they merely bought the IP. Naughty Dog, in collaboration with Universal, created Crash, which means he remains a PlayStation mascot and a Naughty Dog character.

they are belong to PlayStation mascot characters, not owned the character. And Our Hearts they are still PlayStation mascot characters, so they must stay on multiple platforms, and if Microsoft makes Crash and Spyro exclusive, they will lose money because the majority of players for these games are on PlayStation. that’s Why we Always Play only on PlayStation so People reckon Microsoft will keep them multi-platform. But it’s no problem they finally be gone and No More Xbox until 2027

I understand the truth. Thank You

CrashBandicoot and SpyroTheDragon Are Still owned by #Universal Interactive and PlayStation Mascot Characters Not Xbox and Activison and deserve Stay on Multi Platform
