Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time is a 2020 platform game developed by Toys For Bob and published by Activision. Initially released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, it will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows (including PC) in 2021.
The eighth installment in the Crash Bandicoot series, the game's story follows Crash Bandicoot and his sister Coco as they retrieve the all-powerful Quantum Masks to prevent Doctor Neo Cortex and Doctor Nefarious Tropy from taking control of the Multiverse. They are indirectly aided by their old enemy, Dingodile, and by an adventurous counterpart from an alternate dimension, Crash's former girlfriend, Tawna. Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Times

The game retains the series' platforming gameplay and adds new elements through Quantum Masks, which allow you to modify levels and overcome obstacles.
It also offers additional game modes allowing you to replay levels and control five characters, three of which, Cortex, Dingodile, and Tawna, have their own gameplay and levels.
The development team wanted the game to be a continuation of the original trilogy, both in terms of narrative and gameplay.
The Quantum Masks and additional playable characters were created after studying the series' mechanics and identifying new elements to integrate into the gameplay.
The game received positive critical reception, praising the preservation and refinement of the series' classic formula, as well as the implementation of new gameplay mechanics.
The controls, amount of content and replayability, graphics, music, voice acting, and story were also praised.
The physics, level design, and difficulty received mixed reviews, and the rail-grinding sections were criticized.
Commercially, the game recorded the best first-month revenue for a contemporary Crash Bandicoot title,
and topped the sales charts in some territories and was nominated for four awards.
