2Ah I said I would not but I just couldn't resist. I'm pretty happy with this time, even though I faceplanted on several occasions on The High Road and Jaws of Darkness, and messed up a little on Ripparoo, but I did surprisingly well in The Lab (only one intentional death, a record for me :D). Got the Green Gem on the Lost City so I could by-pass a level, which turned out to be the tipping point for me getting a new record on the Vizzed Leaderboard.
I didn't get it before because when I've spent 25 minutes on a speed run and I fail at a particular point, then I tend to give up and just continue on. I consider myself lucky this time. And the jumping and spinning technique seems to be that I only shave a few seconds regardless, per level, which can add up to saving a massive 1 or 2 minutes overall, but after a couple of levels, I don't do it because I tend lose my balance with this and die, a lot, so I never do it on any mildly difficult jumps (which is most of the game, Boulder Dash is a prime example on why I don't do it often xD). FoodPerson has been a wonderful delight on challenging me with this speedrun. He certainly has the technique of jumping and spinning under his help, Win or lose, I would not mind challenging him to other speed runs in the future.
