Most of the changes are background, scenery and box placements. One thing I didn't get to show is that speed boosting close to the exit portal will make you go straight through it. This made me lose the platinum the first time I made it all the way through the time trial. Getting below 1:15 here is really hard and you need some luck with those rotating parts.
