Hello friends of YouTube, the video I bring is from a video game that was rejected and sadly canceled, and it was from our charismatic marsupial!

This game was going to be released in late 2001, and not only that, but also, it would be a PlayStation 2 exclusive, where Sony and Universal would distribute it seamlessly just like the trilogy and Crash Bash (I didn't mention the CTR as this was distributed only by Sony), for the development of this title, Traveller's Tales was selected as the game developer, which in turn would be helped by Mark Cerny with his company Cerny Games, and as a plan for the game, it was that it would be a Non-linear video game, where you would have to travel through different worlds to collect puzzle pieces, and with that plot, that game was going to be "Crash Bandicoot: Worlds", which began to be developed in the early and mid-2000s, at the same time that Mark Cerny helped Eurocom with Bash, that this was the first Crash not developed by Naughty Dog, and that Insomniac Games with Spyro 3, and well, once 2 levels were finished, it was first shown to Sony, who approved the game, and they had it ready to spear it as exclusive, and those levels were one snowy, and another that was volcanic, the latter being that appears in the video, but hey, if you had everything ready to be released as an exclusive and it was planned to launch at the end of 2001, that was what happened? Simple, after Sony, Mark Cerny, even the same employees of Traveller's Tales approved the game, who did not like it was Universal, which according to them, this game would affect Crash, and they chose to want a linear Crash like the ones that made ND, a decision that Mr. Cerny did not like, and as Cerny and Universal thought differently, in the end Cerny with his company decided to work with Sony from the end of the year 2000, shortly after launching Crash Bash and Spyro 3, and Universal decided to break the deal with Sony, thus also breaking the exclusivity of Crash and Spyro, having Konami to publish the games that Universal wanted on Sony consoles, and that is how Traveller's Tales had a year to make this video game again, converting it in a linear game, and using as a base the canceled Crash Bandicoot Worlds, and being renamed "Crash Bandicoot: The Wrath of Cortex", and having worse graphics than Worlds, and being a triple A game, also released in the first Xbox, and on Gamecube, but on these platforms without the help of Konami!

And the little that was left of Worlds, were its logo, but without colors (only that I painted it so that the logo would be seen alive), a sketch of the elementals fused into one, its history that would be a direct continuation of Crash 3, just like Crash 4: It's About Time, but most of all, what was left was this recording of the volcanic level from Crash Bandicoot Worlds! It's sad that this title was canceled, as it would have been a revolutionary game, but hey, it only remains to blame Universal for canceling this promising game!
