Although oil from the gearbox cooler on Ghiotto's Hitech Dallara subsequently set fire to the car's bodywork, the safety systems of both cars - and the resilience of the TechPro barriers - brilliantly enabled both drivers to jump clear of the wreckages. Nursing some bruises, Jack Aitken in this video speaks to Peter Windsor about the build-up to the accident, about how he reacted...and about how much he is already looking forward to the final two rounds of the F2 series in Bahrain in late November/early December. As Third Driver for WilliamsF1, Jack Aitken will also be working closely with the team and attending upcoming F1 races.
