A playthrough of a prototype for the unreleased NES game, Crazy Land.

Originally slated for publication by NTVIC in 1991, Crazy Land would've be the North American release of KID's Doki! Doki! Yuuenchi Crazy Land Daisakusen (ドキ!ドキ! 遊園地 クレイジーランド大作戦) for the Famicom.

The game's North American release was canceled, but it did show up in PAL regions in 1993 when American Softworks published a reskinned version under the name The Trolls in Crazyland (https://youtu.be/DSGBfXxs3Aw). Aside from the changes to the title screen, Crazy Land is the same game as its original Japanese release, but I thought it would be interesting to document this prototype. I wanted to play it after seeing it previewed in Nintendo Power, and for a long time I wondered what happened to it.
