Frequently asked questions:

Q: Why doesn't a particular game have video?
A: I play a number of audio-only games which were designed for blind gamers. As you can imagine, graphics weren't exactly a priority for many of them.

q: How do you read the screen, use a computer, read my chats, broadcast, ETC?
A: I use software called NVDA which turns text in to synthetic speech. For mainstream games, I hook my console of choice up to a capture card. I then OCR the capture card's output.

q: Why do you suck at this game?
A: Because I play for fun. Isn't that what gaming is all about?

q: You seem to know what is going on in certain screens. Are you pretending to be blind?
A: No. I am completely blind. I have better things to do than fake a disability. I use NVDA mentioned above to read images from the capture card. I try to use this information to get an idea of what is going on in things like menus.
