Creating Macros Tutorial - HyperX NGenuity Software
566HyperX NGenuity software allows you to create customized profiles, which include macros, for your HyperX peripherals. A macro links a key to a preset function or action. The macro library lets you store custom key combinations (macros) that you’ve created and assigned to keys. Saved NGenuity profiles include lighting, macros, and game mode customization presets. Thanks to the onboard memory of supported HyperX peripherals, you can save up to three profiles, including your macro setups and Game More preferences, to your device. These can then be used when plugging your device into a new machine, no software download required.
To set up a macro, choose the profile you want to add the macro to and click "Customize." Go to the Macros menu and select Macro Library. Click the "+" to create a new macro. Choose a name for the macro. Select the type of delay between keystrokes you want the macro to use. Click "Record" and input your macro. When finished, click "Stop". You can use "-" to remove lines in the macro. If you wish to save the macro as a file on your computer, click the Import/Export button and save the macro file in the desired location.
To assign the macro to a key, go back to the "Key Assignment" section. Select the key to remap the macro to. Select "Recorded Macro" as your remapping option. Select your macro under "Assign Macro". Select the playback option for the macro. Save your changes to bind that macro.
