Creative Sound BlasterX Vanguard K08 Review (with sound test)
577Creative's RGB Mechanical Keyboard is here with Omron mechanical switches and there's a lot to like about it, but a few things seem a little unfinished; most obvious being the software at the time of this review. I don't know if I just have a really early copy or not, but the software doesn't have any options to change the custom keys.
The function key you see just changes the lighting modes with the arrow keys... maybe something else, but I can't find the documentation on it.
So once they sort all that out, it should be a great board for anyone wanting a quiet, smooth switch and a heap of useful features. It has a wrist rest, extra keys, dedicated media keys (with volume wheel), USB pass through port, fairly nice key caps and more. As I said, there's a lot to like and it's definitely my style of board, but it needs some work.
Great effort anyway, glad to see Creative enter the market like this, see if you like it by the review and the price!
