0Tendou’s theme.
I really hoped that I would make a great Final Boss theme on the first try, and I did! It’s pretty long, the unlooped version is a little over 4 and a half minutes long, making the looped version around 9 minutes, so it beats Kakae’s theme in length.
I was thinking of past Final Boss themes in Touhou itself so I could get a good layout and have it sound good itself, and I think I did pretty good with that. It’s similar to Jouzan’s theme, where I based the layout of it off of Koishi’s theme.
Tendou being an ordinary human blessed by the god of ability-granting (Nohka) with her ability is shown very well here. It goes from an ominous-sounding tune to a more chill tune, then to somewhat ominous again, and then kind of becomes a combination of both. So it’s a rather fitting theme for Tendou in my opinion. A perfect balance of ominousness and chillness.
