I may have missed posting him in Orktober, but that doesn't mean he isn't forgotten!
While mostly known for giant resin pieces that tend tower over the competition (both in quality and size), every now and then Creature Caster will put out an average sized model with an appropriately matching price tag.
The Forge Guard here is the latest model released in such a fashion- there were a few at Adepitcan't, but I have yet to build mine. Hopefully we'll see them soon enough.
One thing Creature Caster is good about is giving you a few options on how to build out your kit (before some of you inevitably start converting it anyways). There's a gun, hammer, or crazy drill kombo shootah thingee that naturally I had to slap on mine. You also have the option of helmet or not. The helmet reminds me a bit of movie Bane. Maybe it's the way it goes around his mouth and head?
One thing that can be said is it's a more unique take on the ubiquitous tabletop orc. A bit more industrious and hitech, but still just as savage and scrapped together as always. Like, it'll fit in with other junk- tech orcs, but not fit in, if you know what I mean.
Now that I think about it, he might make a good Ogryn proxy as well, especially with that hand cannon thingee and the huge shield...
