Signum Workshop- Welcome to Patreon! 3D Printing Signum models!
So yeah, Signum Games started up a Patreon. 10 bucks (or your equivalent currency) for a handful of models from their range? Sure, sign me up!
...I did sign up, and then I started printing a few models up.
First off- almost every model is cut differently, and they will need to be glued together. That's both good and bad. I built a LOT of early Signum models before I started this channel. Most are easier to build now. Some have a variety of small parts- some, not all. All the models featured in the video were previously released as actual cast resin models.
Quite a few of the models got a boost in size. The constructs and Baustek (a demon I previously reviewed) grew to nearly double the size! Too big? Shrink them down then! That's part of the joy of 3D printing!
Honestly, I'm super pleased they've decided to offer these. Not only is it an economical way to get a large amount of their figures, but there looks to be a lot of new sculpts getting offered in the future.
These models have a lot of character to them and are one of the few places you can find what a lot of us refer to as a "Confrontation" aesthetic. These models may be a bit larger than actual Rackham models, but they very much are carrying on that same spirit of unique looking figures. These would be great in both skirmish games as well as tabletop RPGs.
There's also an STL kickstarter waiting to launch, with an option for physically cast models if you don't have a printer in the very near future. When it goes live I'll put the link here!
