Creej's Corruption Demo will unfortunately be delayed again. Let me explain.
There are multiple reasons this had to happen, but the biggest one is actually due to steam. In order to publish the game publicly on steam. I must send out a review build to them, which I have to do multiple times. This process takes 3-5 days for a single review build. We only have 4 days left; it would be impossible to release at this time.
On another note, having to delay gives me a lot more time to polish the game. I am aware I have said the game is polished, and it is, but you can never have too much polish in a game, there are still a few serious bugs that were found after the Patreon build that need to be addressed. Besides this, I can also add very requested features such as a Saving System with a bit more time.
I understand this choice will bring a lot of hate towards me and Black Fire Studios. But that is ok. The main reason I even started game development was because it means a lot to me, it was not just for money, neither is it for popularity, I genuinely enjoy making games and I want to make sure everyone receives the best game possible at launch. One of Creej's Corruption's main goals was to be a game people could get hyped for, and not get disappointed. It is still the main goal; therefore, we will be delaying the game until April 12th, 2024.
