At the moment the game contains four game modes:
Neutralization of the bomb
In this mode, the main purpose of the terrorist team is to place the bomb in one of the two sections on the map. The counter-terrorist team must confront them. The round ends when the bomb explodes or if it has been neutralized. Also, the round ends if the players of one team have killed all players of the opposing team.
Fight to the death
Opposing teams kill each other until the specified time runs out. The team with the greatest number of murders triumphs.
Ranking Games
To gain access to ranked games you need to earn at least 250 kills in fast games. In ranked games, players receive points for each match won, and lose for losses. Depending on the result of the matches played, the player can move to a higher rank or vice versa.
Gangheim
This is the new game mode in Critical Ops. In this mode, teams compete, but the game of each individual team member affects what kind of weapons he will go into battle. The initial weapon for all players is a pistol, but as the game progresses players can move on, earning new weapons. Each killing raises the weapon class of the player.
