Basic efficiency
My slow cooker was too small for a regular-sized roast so I order this larger version. The size is much more appropriate if you are cooking for more than two people at once. I have been using it outside to avoid heating up the house in our desert setting. It works well, but seems to run hotter than my smaller model. I cannot leave it on high for long without overcooking. It also dented quickly (might be my fault) and is heavy to carry around. On all other aspects, it is a good basic slow cooker that holds lots of food. I would like to have given it a 4 1/2
