Cross-Platform Co-Op in Golden Trophy in Rec Room! Oculus & Vive: Virtual Reality Experience!
0Multiple VR headsets, cross-platform co-op play. Oculus Quest, Oculus Rift S, and HTC Vive . . . four players, four times the fun! Usually for these videos, we have a first-person HMD view but since I played on the PC instead of the Quest, I could use the streamer cam feature which means we get a more pleasing third-person view.
EDIT: I am so used to the language environment, I don't even notice it . . . this is sort of a bilingual video in that I am using English while the others are using English to speak to me and Mandarin Chinese to speak to our friend as her English isn't as fluent. So, to speak to folks, use the language of highest common fluency.
Here’s a special recording of one of our in-VR virtual reality experiences. Join us as Rev. Dr. Brian David Phillips (GentleWolf, Oculus Rift S) is joined by composer and artist Kantella (Oculus Quest), pianist AlicePiano (Oculus Quest) and awesome sorceress LorrainePhillips (HTC Vive) as they give Co-Op play in REC ROOM in the Quest for the Golden Trophy and give it a go on multiple VR platforms . . . in glorious VIRTUAL REALITY! Will they be swarmed and mutilated LARPish monsters created by a high school drama department? Will they persevere and beat the game? Oh, yes they will! They will also defeat the final boss and score a decent enough A. Huzzah!
