Yes, it works! You can play SteamVR games on the PC and stream them to your Oculus Quest headset wirelessly.
Here’s a special recording of Kantella (Kaye Phillips) playing some Steam VR games on the PC and wirelessly streaming them to a standalone Oculus Quest VR headset. Note, the gameplay is a bit choppy in part because we were not using a 5ghz WIFI for the demo. This video is a proof of concept piece, it works. Plenty of folks swear by the Virtual Desktop solution and claim little to no latency issues when played with a proper WIFI setup.
