1Crossed Swords is a first person role playing game. It is one of few FPS games in Neo Geo. It is a unique game with sword and shield mechanics.
Its story revolve around two knights who try to protect their kingdom from evil and save the princess. It is a pretty basic story but it is good enough for this setting. In terms of gameplay it is pretty interesting. You use your sword to attack and shield to defend from enemy projectiles. You can also pull three unique special moves. As game progresses you can buy new weapons from a merchant and sometimes you get shields from NPC's.
The game's biggest problem is its repetitive nature and non stop combat you never get a break. One other interesting feature is that in some stages it allows you chooses between two stages. One stage after another you kill enemies and fight stage bosses. It never changes this formula.
Visually this game is pretty good looking with its interesting enemy and boss design and dark color palate.

Overall it is a pretty good game that is plagued by repetitiveness. I recommend this game if you have a friend to play with otherwise it would be even more boring and repetitive.
