OVERALL... Heavily disliked it on my first play through, was immensely disappointed, and felt deceived, couldn't get into it with all the over the top arcade like elements like bullet sponge enemies with health bars above their heads, hit point crosshairs when you shoot them, and ammo count display, (while having infinite ammo already), with enemies taking unrealistic amounts of shots to go down... That is until I realized by beating it you unlock Realism mode, where now.. I'm having an absolute blast with the game. It's a completely different experience, a lot tougher (you die very easily), but much more rewarding, and way more immersive/realistic, which is more of the type of experience I want, and expected. The regular modes are great for someone who wants it to feel more like an ARCADE (Time Crisis) experience, but that's just not for me, realistic all the way, even though the game itself is very much designed as an ARCADE shooter experience, it becomes much more of a simulation shooter in REALISM mode...and it's surprising to me they force players to play through the game in ARCADE to unlock it. Although the story itself was a massive let down, and basically non-existent, with cheesy, bad dialogue voice overs tacked onto linear combat missions.. they were still a blast to me on REALISM mode playing them over a 2nd time, making my way through slowly, taking enemies out in realistic fashion... and i'll definitely be playing them again for sure with different loadouts.. Also, can't wait to jump into co-op missions, and horde mode with friends which gives the game way more playability, and look like a blast. 100% Recommend to any PSVR2 owner.
