Crossing the River | Timberborn Beta - Part 2 (Lumberpunk Beaver Settlement Builder)
304Timberborn continues as we expand our territory a little by crossing the river and setting up a little outpost! This is mostly because we need quite a bit of wood and there's a lot there but also it's good to get a lot more space, most of which we need for farming.
As our population booms we find ourselves in need of quite a lot of housing, which again we stack up because we can and it's brilliant. We also need more food so more fields are constructed.
To aid with unlocking the secrets of technology we put together a little 'brainy' quarter where all the inventors live and they soon begin to amass a mighty pile of research points! We use these to unlock important things, such as... benches and decorative shrubs!
Also we add a new water tower, we learn about labor flags and we build some lovely gable roofs! Fancy!

Unique beaver societies
Common Beavers lead a healthy, balanced lifestyle and are great for your first playthrough. Eager Beavers require very little sleep but consume more food. They are good for a more challenging experience. Last but not least are the Fancy Beavers who basically like pretty things. Refuse to decorate your settlement and they’ll die of depression. Oh, yeah… they also breed like rabbits.
