Join me for some opening excitement and some quick-thinking moves to keep our ancient and hated rivals, the usurpers of Venezia, from keeping control of Northern Italy. You'll hear me roar in glee as we win battles, and in the end the goal is simple: Conquer land we normally would face huge coalitions to subdue.

We'll even get Terraconensis (or however they are spelled; we couldn't care less!) to pay the price for raiding the heirs of the Roman Empire!

Throughout my life I've loved Roman history as sort of a subtle "comparison to America" thing, and these days I feel like we really need a Justinian. I won't lie, I'm also heavily inspired by the Extra Credits team's work on Justinian (and Suleiman).

Crusader Kings 2 is a game by Paradox Studios, and can be best found on the Steam gaming platform!
