Kranus is probably the easiest of the world bosses. Many says that you should not bring Alex or Joan for world bosses as they explode when tanking for 6 party members; but for Kranus; you will want to bring either one of them.

Kranus saps SP when he damages any party members. Even if you block his attacks with Sera; he still drains your SP. The best way to tackle him is to use Alex to tank the damage and absorb the SP...absorb. Alex will tank all the SP absorb and keep your party member's SP high.

The next thing to keep in mind is to block with Sera when he jumps 2 times (the tidal wave). Keep Alex alive and block tidal wave = WIN.
