Real talk: This took over a week to make work. I had to repurchase the game under the game's store page even though I own it on Steam, and then with that I was able to download a patch which somehow made the Steam version work, though I received no dope ass Steam achievements even though I played the Steam version.
And for those who may mention it, I tried all the routes of switching save locations, reinstalling, patching it with the downloaded patcher (it said the game wasn't found on my computer) and all other manners of madness. This game did NOT want to be played.
So! Despite all the INSANE frustration just being able to PLAY this episode brought, I still found myself able to enjoy the game regardless. God damn.
Telltale, you may have awful tech, your shit is buggy, animations are janky, patching systems broken and engine itself being behind in the times, but you still weave a good tale despite all these limitations.
Well shit. Hats off to you there. Just please fix the tech problems I noticed hundreds of people had about your games recently. D:
