Allllrighty. So. First off: I'm sorry.
Second off: I just can't find that passion n' joy right now with Underhell, y'know? Maybe it's the source engine itself, and all of its clunky wonder. Maybe it's the incredibly dark lighting that the source engine has problems with when transfering over to video and the fact that no matter how hard I try to improve it people still hound my nuts and blame me. Maybe it's the fact I'm missing a ton of things apparently despite not meaning to do so at all and then people getting disappointed when I do so so I feel like I let folks down. Maybe it's because I tried to live up to expectations that people were waiting for for years and not feeling like what I've given is good enough for the homies up in the internet.
Or maybe it's just because, as much as I enjoy the game and see how much honest, hard work and dedication went into it. How many hours of bleedin' sacrifice was poured into this free to play game, even though I do enjoy it in some ways, I just can't get my footing in the saddle and keep feelin' like I'm getting tossed off.
So this is a 'it's not you, it's me' statement in a nutshell, but god dammit. This is the second time I've done this now. And I know it's gonna disappoint people. And I'm sorry about that. But it's just not for me I guess. As much as I tried for it to be, and as much as I know how good it gets later on, I just can't find the drive to muscle through to get to that crazy good end-game content, you know?
