Crying Suns, is a tactical rogue-lite. It was developed by Alt Shift, using Unity game engine, and published by Humble Bundle.
In a universe inspired by famous science fiction universes such as those of Dune, Foundation, after 700 years of peace and prosperity, the Galactic Empire has fallen.The OMNI, god-like robots who have done everything for their human masters, have mysteriously shut down.Failing to survive on its own now, humanity is on the verge of extinction.The only hope for humanity to survive lies on a planet on the edge of the galaxy, Gehenna, the keeper of the most advanced imperial technology.Awakened by Kaliban, the last remaining OMNI, we will play the clone of the best imperial admiral, Ellys Idaho.In a deep and dramatic storyline structured in six chapters with more than 300 possible narrative events, our mission will be to command a warship through a procedurally generated universe in the districts of the empire overwhelmed by chaos and violence, in an attempt to reactivate the OMNI and thus save humanity.
