Ugh, this started off pretty badly. Unlike most bosses, the attack pattern of the Fancy Quintar is more or less randomized. Lord help you if he opens with a Whirlwind. Lord help you even more if the Whirlwind crits a high variance roll, like what appears to have happened in my case. Especially with a Warlock that doesn't have Doublecast yet.

Thankfully his physical attacks are rather weak, so with a good enough tanking strategy, the Whirlwind is literally the only thing you have to worry about. It also appears that the AI treats Whirlwind as if it has about a 4 turn cooldown.
