A short tutorial on how to fix the crashing & black-screen on startup.

Launch options:
-autoconfig -windowed
Open up your steam library and right-click on csgo. Select properties and on the "General" tab select "Set Launch Options".
Here use the launch options -autoconfig and -windowed.
Should your game open now, then you can change it from windowed back to fullscreen in the video settings.
Next, open up the drive on which you saved csgo on and go to Steam, Steamapps, common, Counter Strike Global Offensive and here delete the "csgo" application.
Next, go back to your csgo properties and here on the "Local Files" tab verify the integrity of the game files.
This will make sure that all of your game files are complete. When this is done, return to your CSGO folder, right-click the csgo application and select properties, on this new window select "Compatibility" and make sure that everything is unchecked.
Lastly, make sure that your OS and drivers are up to date. If nothing helped you out then you will have to uninstall csgo and reinstall it on a different drive.
