I believe that everybody should do this before opening crates for real, just to get a feel for the number of cases that they'll need to open -and more importantly, the money spent doing so- before they get a knife.

I'm amazed by how many people fail to understand basic probability. However you look at it, you're more likely to lose money from case openings. As you open more, you'll lose more and more money. You'll no doubt get a knife eventually, but by the time you manage it you might have been able to buy several with the money you spent on case openings. Please don't fall into the trap of thinking you're somehow different or special. Use the simulator to satisfy your needs!
