At least a thousand CSUN students protest against the rising budget cuts on public education through peaceful assembly. While we felt strongly enough to storm halls, buildings, and streets, we still knew that it was going to be done as peacefully as possible--We weren't trying to make an enemy of the administration. Overall, all this is to gain the attention of those who run our country to our plight and remind them that THIS IS A VOTING YEAR AND WE WILL NOT VOTE FOR THOSE WHO WON'T DO SOMETHING.

Ultimately, the primary success about this protest is raising awareness to be a bit more politically active at the very least. People online sure are responding to these videos when the footage is no longer on TV, for instance. It's kinda sad when people don't think their voices matter in a democratic-republic.
