Later, I got word that another CSX train was on its way. After this train, I found today's best catch! I thought it would just be a GEVO leader, but after hearing a different K5LA, I knew something was going to be different. I later heard on the scanner them mentioning a 4 and an 8 for the lead locomotive number, and I noticed cab lights, so I was sure that an SD70MAC was going to lead. Funny thing is, the last time I caught a CSX SD70MAC leading was also here in Ashland. I remember when 2014 started, I made it a mission to catch my first juice train and trash train of the year. It took me until June to catch a juice train and until September to catch a trash train. I decided to see how long it would take me to catch a juice train and trash train in the current year, 2015! It took me until February to catch a juice train, but this is my first trash train of the year! This also marks the 10th SD70MAC I've ever caught leading! 9/10 of these MAC leaders were CSX. Skip to 3:06 for the train. I just filmed early so I could catch some of the horn. But what a nice crew! When they saw me waving, they gave me some hornshows and I think the conductor waved! I also wonder why I didn't like YN3B on EMDs in the past, now I think they look great! Enjoy!
