4JUST to clear something up, because I did not clear this up in the video well, the first 3/4 is all ONE Play session. SO I WAS earning hundreds of Wumpa COINS per Race and then SUDDENLY earned 27!!!!!!???? Wumpa Coins in my final race of that Session.
I did NOT notice this "Wumpa Time" mechanic until this morning when I played during CTR's FIRST Double "Wumpa Weekend"...Again I was gaining HUNDREDS of coins per match only to drastically drop below 100 per Race...Meaning if you weren't that good at the game it could take AT LEAST 50 RACES to earn 5K Wumpa Coins...
I am SICK of people saying this is totally acceptable.. I believe this was done to drum up support for Wumpa Coins being purchaseable for real money, while hiding the grind of the game from reviewers..
I Knew the single player was grindy, but it took me weeks to realize multiplayer was no better..and I've reviewed it (4/5). Now I'm ready to SELL this for my next grindfest of a game...because somehow games end up Grindy for NO intentional reason..
Oh yeah...PREDICTIONS!!!
1. MicroTransactions will put into the game by November..they will cite "Player Feedback" as the reason.
2. Spyro Content will coincide with Christmas Content to Drive Sales.
It is very hard to earn EVERYTHING in this game so the DEVs are going to "SAVE" us with the "CHOICE" to buy a currency that allows us to bypass gameplay.
In 3 hours today I earned 6000 wumpa coins...About an hour of that was Wumpa time...Even though you get these spikes in rewards it TOTALLY evens itself out and you earn very little for playing long sessions.
