Earlier in this channels life when we had a much smaller subscriber base I covered Cubivore. It's one of my absolute favorite games and such a unique and intriguing experience. Plus now the lost Nintendo 64 beta version has been discovered and released so we can look at that version side by side with the GameCube final!

Basically it's a evolution sim where you play as a cardboard box and evolve by eating the flaps off other cardboard boxes...yeah...sounds strange even typing it! But even if it sounds odd Cubivore (known in Japan as Dōbutsu Banchō) is one of the most original and intriguing games I've ever played. It's a 3D platformer with evolution mechanics and a legit 10/10 soundtrack. Plus it's the spiritual sequel to Jungle Park on the Apple Pippin...which I did a video on!
