When we think of games that defined genres or were the most influential to game design, most of the time we think of the big names. Final Fantasy, Zelda, Mega Man. But lost to time was a small Japanese developer who were making some of the most interesting games, featuring designs that wouldn't be replicated until years later. What happened and why were they overlooked? Today's Design Documentary takes a look at Culture Brain and their many games, and takes a look at who they were and where they are now.
