Wow. This is an insanely precise trick. It would definitely save time for Charge/Spread if executed perfectly, but there's a 5 HP window and it's just so insanely tight to pull off consistently.

For a while, it's been known that destroying Phase 3 while in Phase 2 will result in a glitch where Phase 3 lasts forever, allowing you to end the fight without progressing to Phase 4. However, this has only been accomplished using a damage modifier cheat. Today, I managed to replicate this glitch with vanilla strats! This is something I've pondered about for over a year now, so I'm glad I was finally able to get it to work.

It's definitely doable without the debug mod. With a 3-cycle Phase 1, I think a sub-1 is possible.
