The first 11 were easy for me to add in, just needed to have the files location ready, along with which player it needs to use, but with a website, i'd need to save more than one file, I had to save alot of .html files, like, tons of them. With being on the wayback machine, I had to change A BUNCH OF LINKS with inspect element, it took me all day to finish this, but I ultimately did it, and now I can access my own version of Nick Jr's 2000 website on flashpoint.
First off we're going to click the "this weeks game" icon, where there is a Blue's Clues game "Hide and Seek" clicking Play Now on the Wayback Machine, will lead to an invalid page, but for the Flashpoint version it really will take you to the game, and its playable as the browser DOES support Shockwave!
The next part is the Dora the Explorer section, this capture was when Dora was just starting, so she's new there. This will take you to Dora's flash page, on the Wayback Machine, clicking a button would do nothing but make the flashsite disappear, but for the Flashpoint, I filled in the missing .swf files, and you can play the games this time.
The next part is the Little Bear section, featuring Episode Descriptions, All About Little Bear, the Characters, the Dress-Up Shockwave game, Bear Facts, Invalid Coloring Pages, and Invalid Pictures.
The next and BIGGEST part is the Blue's Clues section, which has a Blue's Clues LIVE Flash Page, Message from the Creators, Steve's Pages, Recipes, FAQ, Activities, Episode Descriptions, Sounds & Pictures, and here comes the biggest part:
The Blue's Clues Shockwave games are the biggest part of this, as there have been many of them released from 1998 to 2000. There was an option to personalize it so your child is greeted when playing a game, but this feature will not work, if you were on Chrome and went to the help page, you'd get a .dcr download but you couldn't see Blue at all, but if you do it on the browser Flashpoint has, you will be able to see Blue, theres also a short gameplay of everything in the archive to made the video length longer.
The next show is Franklin, it has only 1 Valid picture, 4 Sounds, Unwatchable movies, and 4 Valid coloring pages.
The next show is Little Bill, the main thing being played on it is the Tic-Tac-Toe game.
The next show is Thomas, its just one page where you click the arrows to view the pictures, the problem being only Picture 1 was saved, sad.
Kipper's microsite has 4 valid coloring pages, a printable maze, and just one sound.
Maggie's microsite is just the same as Thomas microsite.
And lastly, I was too lazy to do Maisy's page so his is skipped, and thats all for this BIG website saving. I'm glad this was able to be done.
