Custom Robo Arena - Single Battle (rec. test)
5I had some testing to do, so I figured to make a little video and upload it to see how my computer goes.
Here's the novelty, I got an XBox 360 controller for christmas, and I'm very happy about that.
I wanted to give it a run, to which my very own Project Receed was chosen, followed by AM2R, The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth, Mario Kart DS, and Custom Robo Arena right now.
I also wanted to try a new screen arrangement for DS games, which you can clearly see in the video (duh)
Many people use that arrangement, but I wanted to give it a shot, too, and learn how its done efficiently
I don't like to have empty space on the screen, so I filled with some animated cybernetic looking background and Custom Robo Arena's logo.
During edition, Camtasia was absolutely dying from having to render 4 videos at once (or most likely it was just my PC) but the end result was so satisfactory.

Oh yeah, in regards to the gameplay. I like to use this stall-oriented set, running around and putting a lot of traps with the Satellite Pod.
Technically, a Little Raider would be better at the job, but I much prefer Ray 01's looks (and the fact that I can also use Ray 01 in Custom Robo Battle Revolution)
My strategy is to run around fast with the Formula legs, and lay around Satellite Pods, then try to pressure the opponent into them with the Gemini bomb to force them out of their hiding, or a deadly Afterburner shot.
Also, I messed up my set because I wanted to do this quickly, and didn't give me enough time to remember the explosion types: Satellite H is better for this set, since it prolongs combos.
Do this on a Downed opponent: Set the Satellite bomb, use Ray 01's attack (it knocks opponents upwards) to knock the opponent into the Satellite. Then, since Satellite H knocks horizontally, they'll fall faster and you can knock them again or shoot them.
