UniChØrd make their first visit to a shrine for the New Year, learning about all the manners and practices in the process from Lumina. Later on, they have a New Years' party at Lumina's studio, where Michiru wants to make a new song for their next performance. Kokoa then spends the night drafting a composition that suits Michiru's needs, but she's having problems coming up with a good melody. That night, Michiru ends up having a nightmare of being distanced, worrying that this dream could be an omen for her and UniChØrd. Kokoa is still struggling to come up with something, leading Lumina to have the girls engage in an activity. How well will this activity help Kokoa is springing up ideas.
