3Accountability. Parents needs to hold themselves accountable for their actions while being actively engaged and present for their children on a daily basis. Children can tell whether or not their parents are truly present throughout the day. Active engagement fosters better relationships between parents and children, and here is my philosophy on being accountable as a parent. If I hold myself accountable in my engagements with my children, then I have earned the video game.
