Time travelling big-sword shenanigans in this corrupted timeline fudal future, where one man and his evil corporate empire controls not only the only cure for a suspicious plague but also the world. An old man comes to you with some laughable story about a magic sword created by your ancestor and how it is up to us to save his daughter and correct the timeline... but now he's dead and your stuck in a swamp full of techno-creatures, better get blasting!
Fun fact: 大刀 the logo of the game is the two characters for Great/big (Dai 大) and Katana/sword (刀) but when combined should be said Daitō not Dai-Katana because of the Chinese root word.
Fun fact 2: John Romero didn't want to make anyone his bitch.
